Very fast shipping and real beautiful skirt (better than pictures). The length is nearer 38 inches than 39. I’m 1,75 cm tall so a length of 40 inches would have been perfect.

I am a large woman: I wear a 24-28 and was looking for a skirt to wear to an Afro-Cuban dance Class. My waist measures a 53 and this skirt still left me with PLENTY of room in the waistband; I actually have to use the drawstrings! Excellent material and secure stitching. I plan to order more Skirts in more colors. Also, I got my skirt in 4 days from India! I am very pleased with this company and their products.

While thinner than the skirts out there that cost $80-100+, this skirt is beautiful, moves well and holds up. I don’t expect it to last my entire dance career like I would the more expensive tribal skirts, but I have had 2 of these for almost 2 years and have swished them, twisted them up, stuffed them in bags, stepped/tripped on them, yanked/pulled/tucked…you name it. They are still going strong. The top tier is lined for modesty but you can still see through the lower tiers in bright light. These skirts are best for layering (which most of us do anyway). They are light, breathe well, and the stitching is good. My first skirt is starting to fray at the waistband where I stretched it to its limit (50 inches is the recommended waist/hip size limit to keep it in good condition…I was well beyond that when I bought it) but other than that, it is in fantastic condition and I have no qualms about selling it to another dancer, should I tire of the colors I currently own. Love, love, love!
